We are a new (since Fall 2023) experimental single molecule biophysics group in the Department of Physics at Auburn University.

We are interested in studying protein-protein and DNA-protein interactions at the single molecule level to elucidate the fundamental mechanisms that govern the most important molecules of life. Our research projects are at the intersection of biology, chemistry, engineering, and physics and we collaborate across disciplines to carry out our multi-disciplinary scientific program required for state-of-the-art single-molecule characterization. Method and technique development to facilitate our studies are also important aspects of our work.

We are looking for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers to join us. Please get in touch if you are interested.
